Automagically

Every so often, I’ll get an urgent text message on my phone that says that there was a problem with my web server. But not to fear as “A restart was attempted automagically.”

Automagically? Sure, why not? Anything’s possible on the internet!

Rather than report the odd choice of the use of the word to my webhost, I just let it slide. After all, if I smile every time I get a message about a problem with my server, what’s wrong with that. Perhaps there’s some hidden genius in their choice of words.

By the way, if you’re in need of a rock-solid webhost, you owe it to yourself to check out ServInt.com. It might cost a few dollars more than the “cheap boys” out there. But you gain real, solid support - if you happen to need it. Their VPS technology is rock-solid. Oh, and they operate in the good ‘ol US and A.
