So it turns up that I’ve been missing a vital step in the home improvement process.

We’ve got an old home that has required a lot of trips to Lowes, The Home Depot, etc. And I’ve purchased a lot of things – tools, materials, you name it.

But apparently, just purchasing those items doesn’t solve the problem. Turns out you actually have to use those things in order for the work to get done. Just putting them in your garage doesn’t seem to work. Dang it. Sure wish it worked automagically.
